Is the un-temperred glass that glassblowers produce knappable?

Obsidian is untempered glass produced by a real big glass blower!!! :o ::)

 ;D Pat. I imagine so David, glass is glass and aughta knap easy whether tempered or not - just make sure it's not safety glass, that stuff's just hard to work with ::).

I've knapped tempered glass as well as the regular stuff and I like the tempered glass better...it seems to be more predictable.  The regular stuff is easier to knapp, though....less knapper's cramp.
Any critter tastes good with enough butter on it.
