Here is the list so far.  It isn't getting much longer, but it is getting wider with people deciding to make two knives.  We have a good mix of steel and stone, but w could always use more.  DOn't be shy.

Madcrow   (2)
deerhunter97370
woodsman1031  (2)
DanaM   (2)
radius   (2)
sailordad
D. Tiller   (2)
mullet    (2 or 3)
Okie1    (2)
HFD60

I mentioned on the KITH string on PP that we had one going on here, maybe a few of them will join in.

This is really getting exiting! I have my first knife epoxied up drying as I type this. I feel like a kid at Christmas! We should do this every quarter.

It is putting a little pressure on me to make sure I am ready in time. It is also going to have to learn to make a sheath. I think this is a great for "forcing" me to try my best at making a knife someone else will be proud of.

Check out this link.  He uses nails to make the holes for sewing, I use a drill.  He also gouges out leather in the center to help it bend, I just wet, fold and clamp it.

Be careful if you use the hot wax bath at the end.  It would be better to experiment with some scrap leather and ckeck the temp with a thermometer.  If it gets too hot and you drop the sheath in, you will have a wrinkled up mess and a learning experience.

For all those still pondering the idea of joining, there are three days left.  Go ahead and join, you know you want to.  I am going to get in contact with the name drawer today and have him post on here.  Everybody send him the your shipping address and if you need right handed or left handed sheaths.  As soon as he gets the names drawn, do you want him to post the order (#1 sends to #2, #2 sends to #3, last on the list sends to #1) or do you want to keep it a big secret.  I will leave it to you.  I will also have him send a PM with the addressor addresses that you drew, just in case someone decides to go on a hunting trip or will be gone unexpectedly around the shipping date.
