dddddOkie, My best shooting bows have been osages that were very narrow, 64to 67 ntn, and 45 to 50 pounds.  The very narrow bows seem to be both smoother and faster.  Sounds like a good bow , I wouldn't change it. Congrats.

Very nice bow - any chance of a larger full draw picture?

Oldbow, I'll try to take some better and bigger pictures tomorrow night and post them. I can't seem to resize this one.
I can't learn to build bows AND work a computer too. ;D

OldBow, I hope these are large enough. Glad you asked me to do that because I like the new pictures better anyway. ;D

Your full draw looks great and would convince anyone that you know how to make a well-tillered bow.
Got your fine osage bookmarked too.

John, for some reason, I'm not seeing the pictures.  Hopefully I'll get to see it in person Saturday.  Things still looking good from my standpoint if your schedule looks OK.

Mike everything on my side is a go for Saturday. The wife and daughter are going shopping, so It'll be a guy day. ;D Woo hoo. There may be some more folks show up but the more the merrier.
This is the little bow I started working on last Friday and I was shooting it on Sunday. It really wanted to be a bow.
Give me a call by tomorrow and let me know, there's a couple other guys I have to call if we are going to get together.

It is a nice bow guys.  I got to see it in person Saturday and shoot one of his other bows.  John makes some shooting little bows.  John invited me and several others over to work on bows and I had a blast.  Not only did he open his shop up to us, he grilled us some backstrap, cooked some beans and cornbread, homegrown tomatoes, jalapenos, the works for lunch.   :D  He  got me started on my first bow, unfortunately I think I may have got too carried away with the bandsaw.  Oh well, if she blows apart, i guess that's one lesson never to be forgotten.

John, thanks again for the hospitality.  Tell your dad and Jake I said "hi".  I look forward to another session of Hol-Jam.   ;D

Nice little stick.   :)  You must have really quick-dried it to have a completed bow in 2 or 3 months!
