Stand site near foodplot
« on: August 17, 2008, 08:33:23 pm »
Saturday after our club meeting and shoot, Anthony, Keith and I hung a couple of stands over at Keith's farm. One stand was solely back in the woods on a natural travel area. The other stand that I took pictures of is covering a foodplot of clay pea's and sunflowers.

OOOH!  That looks good!  Looks like I see the tops are eaten out of some of those peas and I love stands in big cedar trees.
Looks like you should be in for some action there Buddy!   Good luck, Saw Filer

Thanks, and good luck to yall too. Anthony took a big doe from that same tree last year, and I think Keith took one of his deer from it as well. With all the acorns this year, the food plots may not be very active until late season. Nothing wrong with hunting a good white oak dropping acorns with signs looking like a bunch of hogs rooting underneath it... ;)
