not too bad...i've made a handful of hickory backed osage board bows, too...if you make another one, try to radius the shelf, to minimize contact between the arrow and the bow...it's better for aim and also easier on the fletching...

I got two osage boards from a buddy and started the second bow. Tips will be narrower, shelf radiused, glue in some reflex and see what else I can learn.

great! yeah, i've had some good success with glued in reflex...my holmegaard still holds a little reflex...the straight-up longbows don't, but they're perfectly straight: no string follow at all...

well, as far as simple goes, those are the only bows I make. My goal is to make bows that I can hunt with. I also make some frie wood unintentionaly.

Old bow... It came in 53 at 26 and does have some sip. I am going to shoot it at a 3D shoot this weekend and see how it performs. Not really Bow of the month quality though. Give me a year or so for that:)
