Bow Plan Books??
« on: July 27, 2008, 01:37:58 pm »
I was wondering if there are any books out there that has a compilation
of Bow dimension plans.

The Bowyers Bibles has a few and there seems to be dimensions for different kinds of bows all over the internet, but has anyone compiled
it into a single book yet? Or a Site?

Thanks.

It seems that the bow building community is leaning toward bow formulas instead of plans or drawings.

To answer your question, nope, I don't think there are any books or sites out there devoted to bow dimensions. :-\

Hi,
I think you will find everything you need to know in;
 THE TRADITIONAL ARCHER'S HANDBOOK BY HILARY GREENLAND.

It's a great book and has lots of info on all things to do with primitive/traditional archery.
With lots of drawings on bows and the cutting dimensions of the bows.
I hope this helps.
