Here are a few more pics. I will try to get a full draw this evening or tomorrow.   The recurves were bent with dry heat and a bit of olive oil(heat gun). I still have to seal the handle wrap and add a few more coats of Tru-oil.
   Again, the lichens, etc on the bark was too beautiful to scrape off so I just covered it with Tru-Oil. I hope they will last but if not the coppery bark underneath will be beautiful also.    Enjoy!     Pat

Alan, I always said I way a straight bow kinda guy buy these short recurves do have a beautiful profile and allure. To me, they are more difficult to shoot. It will take me a while to get good enough with this one to hunt with it. The yew bow I posted recently, on the other hand, shot where I was looking from the start and is very consistent.

Great Bow! I love it! I really like the look of cherry bark and recurves are always cool.  Oure a very gifted bowyer Mr. Brennan :)

The bow looks great I also like the bark as it is, curious to see if it stays the way it is or if the lichens will shed.
