hi. i just started messing around with some brier that i cut originally for arrows, but quickly found out that was a lost cause. i dont know the name of it, but it is the kind of brier that blackberries grow on. anyway, i beat it with a baseball bat
and stripped the outside fibers away form the spongey stuff in the center, and its pretty tough. jist be sure to use a green brier that you let dry for a few days. i could only get like 6 inch strips off, but it was my first time trying it. jist figured yall might be interested.
