Nice shooting, Jamie and your arrows are seem to go where you want them. I am starting to love the Cherokee 2 fletch cane arrows. My hunting quiver will be holding a few this fall.     Pat

Say! What were the point on those arrows. Looks cool and very primitive!  Now to figure out how to put them on rose shoots!

Nice arrows! Love the two fletch style. How long should the feathers be? Primaries or secondaries?

the point idea is from rwelch....
they are hardend concrete nails, set in with some real good thinned pitch, wrapped in sinew, then pitched over heavy.
i use, all feathers...primary,secondaries, short,long fat skinny.lol.

hell, i did not even know secondarys had a name other than feathers, some told me that the secondarys were junk!

o well. they all work pretty good!
they are both right and left wing feathers....just use the same side wing feather on a single arrow!

for just a hodgepodge of arrows made with varying weights , spine , thickness , they shoot ok out of the style of bow that griffin uses.there is no science to my arrowmaking.
one finger from the nock end gets sinew, the width of my pointer finger...
three fingers down from the sinew goes the wrap where i tie on the feathers...
and where they meet at the bottom of the feather i simpll tie off agian...
i just try to keep all the feathers the same size for looks...
thassit!
if i use my left hand id have to do funny math as its metric ::) ;D ;D ;D

i likes em' all >:D >:D
