2 home made quivers
« on: July 03, 2008, 11:16:28 pm »
the first is my back quiver. The beads are my own creation but the color scheme is supposed to be the Navajo symbol for thunder. The second is my belt quiver. The third is hand stiched and took about three hours. Good idea with stiffer leather but all I have is the soft stuff. Off hand, what does everyone preffer to hunt with?

Benjamin:  That's all some nice looking kit.  :o You're right, the belt quiver probably needs to be a little stiffer, but I bet it's still functional.  :-\   Nice arrows too.   :o  Did you make them?

Thanks. Yeah, I handmade the arrows as well. Most of them are dowels from lowes or home depot. A few are phragmites. No matter where I go, I just can't find straight enough shoots to make them from scratch. Someday...

Nice quivers. I prefer a bow quiver for hunting, not as primitive but very effective.
Its November, I'm gone hunt'in.......
