  I'm not wasting my skin, and besides, if you just used the belly you would need a gator about 10' long.

yeah, i cant legaly get any, might know some relitives that can tough. if i can get ahold of it i'll try it. deffinently got access to gar hide, gonna go try to snare some today or tomorra.

  Trey, when you get those Gar, don't throw the meat away, it's good. It taste pretty close to lobster or shrimp. Makes great fish jerky.

hey now i never thought of muskie skins.
got several lakes nearby that have them freaky monster fishies in em.

just aint never caught one that was of legal length yet.but i'll keep trying.
it's like they say,for every 10,000 cast you might catch one.
