gave my friend new osage bow
« on: July 25, 2008, 09:06:14 pm »
told my old shooting buddy to meet me today for a shoot after work .
i also told him to just bring some 55# spine arrows. well he looked like a kid waiting for christmas...lol
he didn't know for sure he was getting a new bow but i think he had a good idea?  after shooting the course i told him i was just kidding and wanted the bow back >:D   he said a few choice words and then told me i couldn't have it back . i then laughed and told him it was his for real . i must say i truely enjoy the time spent with him , and hearing storys from his past hunts. he is one of the old timers of archery and alot of fun to shoot with.
sure made me feel good seeing the grin on his face as we shot today, this is the bow for those who didn't see it on my other post.... thanks for looking.........................john f

Yep, giving them away is as much fun as making them. That's a good looking bow - I bet your friend is delighted to own that one.

Great gift for anyone. Well - no just anyone. Some folks don't understand the beauty of a wood bow.
