its a sappling about a month old, made od blue beech [ironwood]
its shorter than my arm span, the target is 48"x48" for those who want to compare.
the handle is 2 fingers wide thru most of the limb and about a finger thick the whole length.
made hide glue from a rotten smellin deer rawhide, and a 2 ply string from the top of rump section, and tied a bowline loop to string it and a tight twisted loop at the top.
finished it with a scrap pc, of quiver leather arrowpass, shaped like an inverted long raindrop pulled tight to handle by means of sinew.
and hide glue and hemp rope handlewrap over it.
then i waxed it all up for waterproofin the snake skins.
the bow was smudged and fatted before i put on the skins.
annnnd thats about it.
