I am really sorry it took this long to get these up, but here are a few shots I took at the event, which was this past June 7th and 8th. Jamie and the gang from Algonquin Archers in Woodbury, Connecticut hosted the event, and it was all you could want. They had not only bow building but classes taught by the staff of Maine Primitive Skills School in basket making, fire making, wildlife and nature awareness workshops, edible plants too. They had a 3D course, sting making, net making, and to top it all off, an amazing all-venison feast Saturday evening. Jamie acted as chef, and it was satisfying!
If any of you can make it next year, I highly recommend it. It was very hot that weekend, over 90, but no one seemed to mind the heat, and the day just flew by.
What follows are random shots I took. I have more photos on film in the lab right now, and I am just finishing up an article for PA on the event.
