Skyler that bow is sweet! Don I'm sure your proud of him and he's only gonna get better. Those other boys had some nice bows too. Nice job. Also how did you mix RIT to get it to take so well on that. I tried RIT on hickory and mine would barely soak in any color. More pics of the quiver too please. Pics all came through great for me.

THX Everyone.........The Quiver is Elk hide lined with Elk Mane. It was made for Skyler's birthday last year. You really need to see it to believe how nice it is...It was built by "SHELL" and she is probably one of the best out there.......Their web site is awesome.....The Armguard/ knife combo was given to Skyler by Shell and her husband Frank, everything hand made including the knife........PM me and I can put you in contact with them.........THX Again, yall made Skyler's Day..........Don

Forgot.......What we know about Rit Dye we learned on here and by experimenting.......Got us some Hickory scraps , Rit, and some Denatured alcohol and went to mixing........The hickory seems to be different in its ability to take stain, it varies for us.........The mixture that works best seems to be  RIT AND DENATURED ALCOHOL......We mixed Yellow and Orange until we liked the color...Sky's bow has got 7 or 8 coats of Rit...We've got a cool looking Green and Brown bow in the works......Again, IF WE CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN :) :) :) :) :)  THX Don and Skyler

Skyler that bow turned out great. I knew you had it in you. I am proud to have just a small part in it. I don't mind all the work when it goes to teaching super kids like the three of you. Mason, Jach and Skyler. Don you dads need to be thanked also I can tell you spend a lot of time with those boys. It is good to see the future in them.  "A"
