I don't get a lot of time to be on the computer what with work and life and all. This is definitely my favorite place to visit and read through as many threads as I can, though.
I finished this bow last week and have managed to get a few hundred shots into it since. It's a hickory board backed with laminated boo.
It took quite a bit of set, as you can see, but I'm happy with it since it's my first successful longbow and it shoots great with very consistant groups. I used purpleheart for the nocks and an inlaid shelf/striker/finger groove. Sorry about the poor quality pics. It was so sunny that day that I couldn't see the image on the camera's screen, so I was shooting blind and my pic skills are pretty lame as it is. I held the bow while my son took the full-draw pic.
It's 72" o/a and 70 1/2" nock to nock. It came in right around 75# at 30" and is braced to 6".
Thanks for looking,
Bruce
