i have a 1" piece of osage that i posted about a while ago. well it is warped to the side like a c so i wanted to turn it over and turn it into reflex but the grain would be nasty. So can i linen back it and use it? i was going for a bendy handle d bow 50# @ 26"

How wide is it? If it's narrow enough, you could straighten it with heat/steam back straight. Probabaly would be safer grain wise that way.

i thnk i will do that its sounds alot better. its about 7/8" wide. its a scrap piece but its too good to waste and the grain on this is perfectly straight and i didnt want to turn it on its side so i think i will see if my dad can get a heatgun from work.

I've heard Osage responds well to bending with heat, and Ive done it with hickory, which is an absolute bear to bend.
