Are we going to be able to buy tickets Arvin?

How much? How do we get them?

Bj I’m not sure. That’s why I ask the best way? Maybe a silent auction of some kind with a $500 starting point.

The ones I have donated to different fund raisers went up for a raffle. If I remember correctly it was about $30 a ticket. You could buy one or more tickets if you wanted to improve your odds .

I think that worked pretty good. You could still participate if you didn’t have a big budget and you didn’t have to worry about finding someone who had the money for the whole thing. If they did they could buy more ticket. No guarantee they would get it would be the draw back for them that way.

I guess it depends on your crowd. It worked well for our events. They usually brought over $900 and I don’t think they would have brought nearly that from an auction with the crowd we had.
We just didn’t have a lot of people who knew what a Selfbow was let alone what they should be worth.

Good luck and keep us in the loop

How did you manage tickets when people buy online?

Sleek we didn’t do any online tickets. Everything was just people at the fund raiser.

I wish we could have sold tickets to online participants. I had several friends who were interested in buying them. I’m sure we could have raised a few more dollars if we could have but the people in charge of the fundraiser decided not to. They had a lot of other donations. Literally hundreds of them. They where  good causes and the people of our community stepped up however they could.

Lots of donations and lots of support for them

I think a raffle will make the most for the good cause as well.  There are always give-a-ways on trad sites where you just trust the person will draw a name and make it all fair.  I don't know why it couldn't work, but Arvin would need to accept one of the online currencies, like PayPal.   Good luck with yet another nice thing that you are doing for the sport Arvin.
Seems like common sense isn't very common any more...

Could you just do a post and ask interested folks to answer with a commitment and set a dead line on the item . Then receive a check and ship the bow???  Maybe on this site. Then build to the highest bid specks. I’m not computer smart enough to do anything else.
