It worked out great Pappy. Really happy we had one dry day to see your place. We didn’t have to worry about getting a sunburn anywhere. But we had good luck with roads and outdoor activities.

And as much as I like winter it is good to get away from it for a bit.

My cousin sent me a few pictures of his latest creation.

He sent me a really nice video of it with bare metal and I think it was nicer. He said he wanted to paint one.

I don’t know how to link video

So here is the painted version

Gave my step mom a really nice puzzle for Christmas. She finished it up. She said she almost gave up three times.

Glad she finished it. I glued it on a scrap piece of 1/4 plywood that came from a shipping container.

Then I made a frame from some scrap pine crates. I burned them with my heat gun and glued puzzle in frame. I think it is going to look nice.

Thanks Pappy. She loves puzzles. My dad made her lots of stuff for puzzles and they have kept her very sharp.

We decided to get our 1995 red Mack truck in for a restoration. It’s going to be a big job but this old gal is worth it. She’s been a dependable, hardworking truck. She just needs a little extra care.

My son got the flu really bad. I had to take care of his cattle for a few days. Then I helped him clean the barn and spread.

Got everything looking really good.

We got seats and carpet out. We got the cab off the Mack. The floor looks remarkably good. So far we haven’t run into anything unexpected.

Everyone is going to be fighting over this truck this fall. It’s a good driver. And she should be a looker too.

PS we have a 1985 Kenworth that’s almost showroom and a 1990 Mack we did that look like brand new.
