Thanks Russell.
This one is glass.
The cholla was a kinda wonky piece that Jon gifted me. It had a little wiggle and a hole that ended up being where it was hafted.
I think it turned out pretty cool with a little character.

I used clear silicone on this one and I like how it looks with the glass.

Lashed with white tail sinew

Thanks for looking

Look forward to seeing your stuff when it warms up

It’s brutal out there right now

Nice knife. Before I saw it was made from glass I was trying to figure out what kind of pink rock you used.  ;D

Thanks Rick. It’s funny but when I show people my flintknapping they are alway surprised the most by glass. You can tell them obsidian is volcanic glass, but they don’t really get it till they see clear glass.

Thanks Steve. This was actually supposed to be a hanging piece for a late Christmas gift exchange. They decided not to do the gift exchange so I ended up with it.

I guess they always say you give what you want to get, so I’m happy

Yep!

I like it! I've been chipping off and on, finished up some points. When we get the site up posting pictures a little more friendly than it is now, I'll get some pictures posted. Plus, my rocks are buried under snow.
