Very impressive in both beauty and speed. The unbraced profile is really impressive. Not sure how the reflex increased when you removed horn??  You have been turning out some amazing bows. Thanks for sharing the details of your work!

Looks great Dave. Never ceases to amaze me how fast you crank out these great pieces of work.

Thanks Mike!  Once I get in a groove it’s hard to get me out of it.  That can be good at times and bad.  Just ask my wife!

Thanks Will.  Ya I’m still scratching my head on the reflex thing on this bow.  I know I’ve seen something similar with sinew backed horn bows and with some sinew backed wood bows too where the reflex will increase a bit as belly wood is made thinner. This is the only thing I can imagine that has happened here.  Anyway she’s happy with it and I’ll be making more of these.

Thanks Hamish!  It came together pretty quick for me.  Gives me something to do while I wait on my trade bow to dry a bit more.

Thanks pappy!   Ya she loves the horn belly look.  I’ll have to make her a stronger for it though she doesn’t like stringing it up.  6” reflex little too much for her without a stringer.
