Osage Static
« on: March 09, 2024, 05:44:47 pm »
Finished this one up recently, I have about 400 shots through it now.
66" (64 NTN) 49#@28"
Canebrake rattlesnake skins, beaver tail grip, walnut and whitetail antler tips. Vinagroon stained belly and back. Thought I'd get one done for my trip to the Classic in May, already have another one started now.
Had a few issues getting this one to completion, but I'm happy with the way it shoots. Hard and accurate.

Still don't have a FD pic, I'll post up with one soon. I'll post up what I have for now.

Made a couple trips up to my deer shack 3D course and shot pretty well, tweaked the brace a little and got it dialed in nicely. Can't wait to get back out stumping. Enjoy the pics and happy building!

Very nice bow with nice sweeping lines. Well done all over.  :OK Hopefully I'll get to see it at the Classic.

Very nice Damon. The finish work looks great, but I love the profiles. I’m sure the full draw looks great.

I’ll be checking back to see it.

Thank you all very much, gentlemen.

I've learned a lot here and elsewhere from most everyone that posts and love to see everyone's work.

Pat, I can't wait to get down there and see all the happenings in person. I'm sure I'll be in bow making heaven. Heck, I'll probably just watch people making bows and do a little shooting and stave shopping. And say Hi to everyone I wanna meet in person, of course. So far it's a go for me, barring any disasters on the home front  (-S
