My favorite holiday. I try to be thankful everyday, but today is special.

Getting together with most of my siblings. Will undoubtedly eat to much. Most likely fall asleep for a bit and hopefully watch the Lions kick butt against the Packers.

Hope you all have a good one. Safe travels

I always volunteer to be the greens cook for our family gathering at my sisters-in-laws. I was going to pick the greens yesterday but decided to go hunting instead.

I got up this morning to a heavy frost, I thought about going hunting but there was a thick fog which is not good flintlock hunting weather, it is hard to keep the prime dry.

I will have to wait until the frost burns off before I get out to pick the greens.

Back at you, everybody.  There is indeed so much to be thankful for.  I'm sick so we won't be seeing relatives today, but that's OK.  We're already making alternate plans.  Any day with family is good, whether it's the holiday or not.

Our turkey is following our normal Thanksgiving tradition by steadfastly refusing to thaw out.   ;D  But there are rolls, apple cake, and pumpkin pie in the oven, so the feast will go on, turkey or no.

I’m super glad for my friends that invited me over for thanksgiving while my family is across the country! We all spent the day having fun and cooking some wonderful food! I hope everyone else has a good Thanksgiving!
