Made my trip, didn’t take my pistol. Changed my mind about it. Worked out fine. I did encounter a black bear on a trail on our way back to the trail head. We kept yelling at it and it walked ahead of us to the parking lot. Saw lots of wildlife. Big horn sheep were plentiful. Saw a grizzly and a bull and cow moose. Bull was only about 20 yards away. Good trip all and all.

Glad you had a good trip.  That's an awesome photo of the moose.  I would be almost as worried about a big moose as a grizzly at that range!

Yeah that moose was pretty close. I got that picture from a video I took of it. I didn’t know it at the time I saw him but there was a cow down in a small lake. He went down there and laid down next the lake waiting on her I guess.
