So the sinew is pretty dry and I imagine the bow tiller will need to be corrected- it was fully tillered but a heavy layer of sinew must have changed things. I know I can’t use heat but if there is a weak spot do I add sinew, sand down sinew or scrape the belly? Do I treat the bow as if starting tiller from scratch or can I brace it and go from there?

i usually brace the bow,, and even it by scraping the belly,,
if you have a weak spot,,,mark it and dont remove wood there,,
