Got to love tbhat yellow wood. Looks like it might come out a lot like Elkie. I catch my self wanting to try a short oshort osage Comanche bow.

I got the stave reduced a few days ago then bent one tip yesterday and one today with dry heat and cooking oil. I let each bend stay clamped overnight.
