Found these suckers on the way back from the climbing crag! These suckers taste amazing! I’m going to go out and pick more! Tis the season for mushrooms! Saltwater bath for 5 min, sautéed them till golden

Morels are such a tasty spring treat, I look forward to searching every year.  This year around us we had ideal conditions for a week or so and found a pile of them.  Found 7 pounds and all around about 6 dead elms in the same area.  We have very few elms around us so that is the limiting factor when things are right.  Fried some up with fresh picked asparagus and ramps, one of the very rare meals I'm satisfied without having protein...
