Thanks guys.

I’m not sure how much of a tribute bow this really is. But this piece of wood always made me think of George.

I don’t know if my description of where I found the wood for this one helps, but if you can find the right board it certainly is a good option

Beautiful bow and very cool story behind it, BJ. I love the character and full draw on this one. Jawge was very influential in my get started in selfbows. I miss his posts here. Very nice tribute to him.

Thanks guys. Arvin I feel the same.

On the leatherwall site they had a post about planting trees for George. I tried grafting one of my dad’s Apple trees to one of my thorn apple trees. So far it looks like it might make it.

I think all of us that have been students of his fully approve.

Thank you for doing this. And for sharing.

Thanks Guys. I’ve been really busy the past ten days. Trying to get caught up again after all the rain.

Got a lot done, but it’s supposed to rain again today. Hopefully get some more done before it gets here.

Had two white frost mornings this week. Was a hard one yesterday morning and it felt like a nice day for February day before yesterday. Was sunny but cold and the smoke from the forest fires is blocking out the sun.  Hope my Jawge graft survives.

Thanks again for the kind words
