that is awesome ... makes me want to try one... cept maybe put the hole at the center of the bow so's i could shoot the arra through the middle like those cowboy and indian play bows i buy for my kids

Can you tell us how you did the rabbit fur on the handle? I bought some rabbit fur a couple of months ago to do the same effect. Is it one piece glued, or two separate pieces on each end?

Nice character, and well integrated.  It's hard to look at a good character bow and even compare it to a right and regular bow, at least in terms of aesthetic appeal.  They may give a bit of ground on cast or hand shock, although they don't necessariy have to, but they just plumb peg the cool meter.

I usually make by bows for hunting, and didn't put the extra
time in for looks. You guys inspired me too.

The rabbit is tied on at both ends of the handle, two small
strips. I might glue them on at a later time.
