really miss Jawge
« on: April 07, 2023, 12:58:21 pm »
been posting a long time,, same with Jawge,, one time we disagreed about sinew backing not holding up in his part of the country,,
well finally I said well Ill make one for you and send it,,and I did,, he sent me a nice character hickory bow in return,, disagreement settled,,
checking with him later he informed me the bow did hold up and shot well,, as did his when it got to me in the high desert,, he was there at the white wood wars long time ago too,, I preferred osage,, but Jawge was more open minded and liked lots of wood,,,really miss him,,

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Jawge. Prayers sent for Jawge's family and extended archery family. May he rest in peace.

Diddo.  Would have been nice to meet him.  This community is better because of generous guys like him.

I'm with you, Brad. It's still fresh in my mind.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
