Thanks everyone for the kind words! This stave had been gathering dust on my rack for a while now, I'm glad I rediscovered it and got inspired.
Very nice work. I bet it was fun to keep on the tiller tree. How does it feel in the hand. Does it try to twist at all in the hand on release. I am working on a very similar mulberry stave right now. Love to see your work. Very inspirational!
Thanks, Matt. I don't long string tiller on the tree so I didn't have a problem there. Once it was strung the dip in the handle fit perfectly on the rounded tree crook that I use on my tiller tree. Similarly in the hand it was very well balanced and felt molded to my hand. The string alignment was good from the get go. I didn't have to make a single heat correction on this bow to line it up where I wanted it. I found it to be very pleasant to shoot without any twist or torque.
