Flintknappers in Idaho

Hey guys! It's been a while since I last posted anything here. I'm currently attending a University up in Idaho. I was wondering if you guys knew of any flintknapping groups or gatherings in the Idaho Falls/Rexburg area? I'm looking to find some knapping partners. If you're up in that area and are looking for a knapping buddy, shoot me a PM. I'd be glad to share some rock!

You might consider the gathering at Glass Buttes Oregon.

Man, time flies!  Seems to me we were discussing the merits of a bandsaw,  cars, and girl friends not too long ago.!  What school are you attending and what are you studying?  Got to be some snappers and bowyers in that area, heap plenty good rock, too!  Drop a line hen you get a chance!

Haha! yeah time really has gone by in a flash! Im attending BYU Idaho, and I'm studying Range, Wildlife, and Fisheries management, with an emphasis on Wildlife (soon-to-be range). Thinking of changing to Microbiology.

Im talking with my Geology professors and my Range professors and I'm dialing in on some nice obsidian! still gotta find the knappers and bowyers! Outdoor climbing season is starting too so I'm going to be spending lots of time up close and personal with some rock, hopefully, can find some stuff there!
