David, I made bows out of Osage, Yew, and red oak, I'm working with some Vine maple too, but for plesure of working it and beauty, Guava is my favorite

Yep, BOWMAKING IS A PRIVILEDGE !!

Wow it must be pretty good and the wood is beautiful.  If you evr want to trade for a wood you cant get  let me know :)
