Two old wooden bows

I hope this is the right place for this post. I have two old wooden bows with what looks like sinew strings. One bow is 44” long, the other 45.25”. I don’t know their history so I welcome your thoughts. Thank you.

This looks like black palm, it is probably a south american native bow. Short bows like these are usualy made for tourists.
they still look fonctional
