Yew deflex static

Been a while since I posted, still making and shooting them. This piece of yew came off an ornamental tree. Not sure of the species fairly dense ring count. Small diameter Pole with a about 4 inches of deflex. Did not feel like combating the d flex knowing that it would come back one way or another. Figured I'd had two choices either reflex deflex or static. Went with the static. Did not have enough wood in the handle so I built it up with some Walnut and purple leaf plum. Came out to 44 lb at 27 1/2 in. Thanks for looking

Very nice bow, Paul. That deflex should make for a nice shooting bow. Well done!

I don't normally like the fg style recurve handle on a self bow. The more I looked at your pictures I have to admit it looks pretty darn good, in fact very artistic and beautiful.
Overall you have done a very fine job, for sure.
