Hi again!
Another interesting bow I've built in recent months. I know it's probably not very efficient and beneficial, but I wanted to make something like this for a long time. Let's say it was just for fun project. I used 3 wood species for this build: black locust for the main bow, ash for mid one and yew for the smallest stick. The small and mid one were shaped and bent with the use of steam. For both these I used leftover material from other projects.
The bow (all strung up) unded up drawing over 65lb at 26". The main bow is approx 67" ntn, mid one 42" ntn, and the smallest 26" ntn. I used hot hide glue to join them, them wrapped the handle with flax twine and again sealed it with hide glue. Bow string are made from B55.
