New Osage by John Thomas

John ask me to post this for him,so here we go.It is 20 year old Osasge,64 inches N-N
53@26.It had Bufflo tip overlays and Dimond back rattler backing.Shoots great.This is
his first in several years,he has really got back into it since the Classic.Some of you nappers
meet him in the napping pit at the Classic,he is a very good napper and about as good at
building selfbows.He said he wanted to come down to learn how to build a selfbow the
right way but after seeing this one I told him he could give me some pointers.Hope yall like it.

John is one of those people that is good at whatever he sets his mind too! This is a really nice bow that I got to shoot, and it sends an arrow straight, true, and hard! :)

Yep, looks like John is one of those multi talented guys! That's a great lookin bow. Did he make it twenty years ago, or was the stave curing for twenty years? Like them skins - I just need to come across one more rattlesnake...

He started it 20 years ago and just put it up and after seeing all the ones at the Classic he dug it out and finished it last week. :) He has been building boo backed bows for several years,said
he just couldn't get the selfbows to do right,Well this one did. :)
