Wavy Gravy Osage
« on: May 20, 2022, 09:24:32 pm »
Finished this up a few weeks back. A real character stave. I did zero heat corrections just made a bow. Top limb took a lil bit of set and the tiller isn't perfect but don't really care. It's #50 @ 28", 66" ntn.Deer antler overlays and did laminate some extra meat on the grip and stipple it. It has a real cool knot on the bottom side and didn't want to cover it with a handle wrap.

This is the first stippled grip I have ever noticed and I think it is a great idea! Where did you get the idea?

Great looking bow, and I like how you just went with it by not making any heat correction. That's letting the wood tell you what it wants for sure.

Very cool! Working on one that I don't wanna cover the grip, thought about trying a stipple.
