New osage bow from a real nice stave!
« on: April 04, 2022, 08:34:18 pm »
This was one of the best staves i have ever seen. This bow is 64in long. Shoots about 58lbs at 28in.i really like this handle design. let me know what you think. Full draw to come.

The brace profile makes it look like its bending too much at the fades but it doesnt look like that at full draw.

I would try to talk you out of it, but it's a bit heavy for me.  Nice work!

That’s a beautiful bow. I love the gently flipped tips.

That looks like my kind of bow, everything about it [except maybe the weight]  ;) :) and also like that handle style. Nice work. :)

Nice looking bow.  The handle looks nice but it's not my style

Looks really nice.  Nice simple flipped tips.  Don’t get much better then that.

Heres the money shot. Probably closer to 27in draw from the pic.

Nice bow. Great stave !!! I like that handle . You asked. I think take some off between mid limb and tips. But that’s just me.  It’s a good one for sure. And Osage!
Well I'll say!!  Osage is king!!

Thats one nice piece of osage. Still a lot of hard work and skill involved in getting a good shooter out of it IMO, congrats. Good looking bow!
