Hey Folks,
First of all, many thanks to Salih one of my viewers who has send me some well seasoned yew - this is one of those staves
I really don´t know how to call this thing, Hybrid, Intersection, crossover. To me its looks like a ran over snake
The purpose was to make a yew flatbow with ~ 60"@28".
While chasing a ring and reducing the sapwood I realized the stave was quiet small but had a beautiful seperation of sap-heartwood.
I also didnt want to make a Molle again but I remembered a very unique bow I saw on a medieval competition.
That bow was like an Intersection of two bows - a Flatbow and a D Shaped Bow and it had a eliptial tiller... so I took a chance.
