True.  I was telling a friend about my bow-building effort, and he said I should try to get some in a shop to sell.  I told him there's no way I could charge enough to even make minimum wage for them!  Some people, people with actual skills and knowledge and stuff, can make them fast enough to sell.  Not me.  Strictly a labor of love.
 
A bow like this one?  It would take me a year or more, if I ever got it shootable at all.  Very cool.

Just noticed the highland cows in the background!  Are you in Scotland?  I always had a soft spot for highland cows.  They're so...fluffy.  Delicious, too.   -C-

They are kept here in the Dutch dunes for managing growth on walking paths, the just roam around.  They are verry friendly and luckily so far nobody took one for their meat.. (which is great by the way  (=)
