Just another obsidian point. A little big for arrow.
Funny how I use to have trouble getting points big enough and now I have to force myself to make Smaller ones.
Still not sure if I’ll use it for a Atlatl or work on it a little more for a arrow.

Looks good to me! I made a Cahokia point the other day. Good to sit down to it.

BJ,
That would look real nice on an atlatl dart! Whether or not you get a chance to hunt with is another question!

Thanks Steve. Maybe you could post it if you get a chance.
Thanks Jerry. I think I probably will halve it to a fore shaft for a Atlatl dart. I was going to make a arrow head but I got more out of this spall than I thought I would.
Thanks Marc

If atlatal point isn't in the cards one might mount it to a short thick haft as a utility blade. Not as a fighting or hunting knife but for general work you might otherwise do with a pocket knife.

Thanks Allyn.
Gimlis I was actually thinking the same thing as I was taking the pictures. I have made several like that before. Made a deer hide neck knife sheath for them. They seem pretty popular.

Thanks guys. I honestly still have a lot to learn. I have been figuring a few things out though. It’s still very humbling to me as I still screw up plenty.lol

I agree with mullet, even in the short time I've been on this site I've seen great progress in your skill
