Hey Folks,
after a few discussions about the thickness of the levers of a Møllegabet I decided to make my next as thin as possible.
The customer wanted a Møllegabet with 45-50#@31" so thats a big draw and I made the bow a little bit longer.
70"ntn unstringed. that of course means a lot of mass so I looked for every spot to get rid off weight.
I also heat treated this thing 3 times - tested more and more what ash could do. I also gave an intensive HT to the levers while I fixed them to prevent twisting
The result was a very light Ash Mølle with fine light levers. I think it performs quiet good.
47lbs 175fps with 10,2gpp at my 28" draw and there is still alot of unnecessary mass cause the customers draw is 31"
had it even on 178fps with 50pounds @ 28" before but after I gave it around 200 arrows it lost a few. Set looks still good I think thanks Heat Treat.
very comfortable shooter - no stacking even @ 31"
I recorded everything:
