Striped river cane?
« on: January 22, 2022, 05:12:50 pm »
I am guessing it is non native cane? Everything i can find online shows native cane as a solid lighter green color. This stuff i have access to is very clearly striped. Round shaft, no flat side like true bamboo.

Any thoughts? I'm guessing it is something imported to a garden center for landscaping purposes...

Thoughts..thanks. Paul

I've seen it but never used it. It is an exotic. Most bamboos, if the right diameter will make good arrows.
Google striped bamboo to get more info.
