Great-looking recurve!
How is the cast on her? I have always wondered how lower weight self bow recurves would fling an arrow. My recurves always end up in the 55-65# range...and then after shooting them for a few weeks or more I scrape ‘em down to 50-55#. I know some of the experts (mostly Dean Torges) heavily advises against dropping weight in this fashion. He is of the opinion that one should come in about 10# target draw weight and then reduce weight by “sweating” the bow at brace...and then by final sanding, etc.
If I were an expert bowyer, maybe this would be how I did it...but I am still always striving for suitable adult bows instead of the kids bows I knocked out a few times unintentionally at 1st.
