Good to see you are still at it.
Question ... how long is handle and fades?
Congrats, sir!

Nice bow, those red streaks really set it off, and I bet the longer handle and fades make it a sweet shooter. I have experienced about a 25% failure rate with red streaked osage, but when they hold up, they become one of my favorites. Here is a picture of what I often find.

I used to think I was doing something wrong with my higher brace height after hearing people posting these low brace numbers, but like you, I twist it up until it shoots best.

Great bow, Paul!  So, how long does it take in my bowyer career before I can make a bow like that in less than a month?   ;D

I share your annoyance with the website warnings.  Sure wish the Powers could do something about that.

Thanks guys. It was an absolute perfect piece of wood though. Had some setback in the handle which I'm not a fan of. I was about to cut it in half and rejoin them to throw the reflex out in the tips but I took the lazy way out and just went from beginning to end with no heat correction. More like making a board bow than one out of a stave

Great looking bow!  This thread had a bunch of folks I remember…   I have been out of pocket for a while, but it’s good to see you are still making bows.  That one looks like a sweet shooter to me.  I’m with you on the brace height.
