Couple knives

Finished up a couple knives as prizes for the scout group that I work with. 2 I showed in point of the month thread and were the 1st corner tang pieces I attempted. The final one I made over the summer. The cool thing for me is the walnut and viburnum woods came from properties of each boys families. Hope they think thats cool.
From left to right
Flint ridge Nethers/Landscape viburnum handle
Dacite/Walnut handle
Keokuk/Hawthorn handle
Pretty happy with how they turned out all around. Still working on thinning things better. Hope they are good enough to be something special to these young fellas. These are some extras so will be a surprise to these boys and just my way of thanking them for their efforts with the troop. Thanks for looking.

Really cool Mike. I can’t imagine any scout not being thrilled with one of those.

Thanks White Falcon, well worth the work to pass them out.
I agree Allyn. Hope to do more work like that on wood handles. Just used a chisel. Tear out was a bit more of a problem in the hart wood but got better with practice.
