Do we have a head count on every one here?  Is every one ok?

We had wind and rain here but nothing like Kentucky, Illinois and Arkansas. Hope all of our members are doing OK. Sure was a bad scene on the evening news.

I’ve been wondering the same Sleek. I hope everyone is safe. Looks like a really bad one.

The storm came through N Alabama at abut 5:30am, I have heard a lot of straight line wind storms come through over the years but nothing like this one. I expected to see trees down everywhere when it got daylight but everything was still standing. My cable went out for a day but the power stayed on.

There were still some leaves on the trees before the storm hit, they had been stripped bare. I have been laid up on crutches because of a bad knee injury and hadn't removed the massive amount of leaves from my yard, the storm took care of this for me and blew almost every one of them to the east and back into the woods around my house.

High winds and freezing rain are 2 weather conditions that is dislike the most

P.S.  We had what is called a micro burst come through here a few years ago, it was not fun

"Man proposes, God disposes".

Drove through an epic lightning storm crossing the Smokey Mountains, nothing can make one feel smaller and more temporary than that.

We got about an inch or  so of snow and a lot of wind, 40-50 mph+.  Got more wind coming tomorrow, gusts up to 80 mph forecast,
a lot of snow in the Rockies, feet plus in many places.  We may get some rain out here   Our condolences to those who have lost a family member or loved one!
