This is not my bow, actually, it is my son’s. It’s his first finished complete and shooting bow. He wanted to try to make one out of a board and he wanted it short, so we found a good piece to work with. All work was done by him, I just helped him a bit with tiller advice. The string is twisted artificial sinew, which I showed him how to make. Has probably an inch of set after unstringing. Arrow was put together by him too. I have had to go back and tell him the better orientation of the fletchings, but he had a great time building it.

20lbs at 20 inches, which is perfect for him he hasn’t built himself up to shooting heavier.
