Inspired by Southern Plains type arrows:
red osier main shaft with painted grooves and drilled out socket for foreshaft, red oak foreshaft with heat treated chert point (Washita type), bison sinew wrappings, pheasant wing fletching. 54# spine @ 24" span, 23" draw to the joint with the foreshaft, 31-7/8" total length, and 438 grains total weight. Paints and dyes are modern alcohol-based. Hafting glue is modern hot melt. Light application of chicken fat as sealer on shaft.
